Morrisby Profile FAQs:
How can the Morrisby Profile help me?
The Morrisby Profile finds out what your strengths are and what special aptitudes you may have, and how these relate to careers or courses that might best suit you.
Is it online?
No. It is a series of paper and pencil exercises to be completed in a set time period.
How long does it take?
It takes just under three and a half hours, including a short break. Although it sounds hard work, people generally find it interesting and fun.
Do I need to swot up to prepare for these tests?
No. The tests are designed to find out what you're naturally good at, and also where your weaknesses are so it's best if you do very little or no preparation. We will provide you with a practice leaflet so that you can see the style of questioning, after you have booked your place.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
No, all the required resources will be provided by Dragon Career Associates.
Can anyone take the test?
The Morrisby Profile is suitable for people aged 15 years and older. There is no upper age limit.
How much does it cost?
Morrisby Psychometric Profile, including 3+ hour testing, written report, and feedback session with Angela or Jayne costs:
Individuals - £200
Group rate (10 or more) - £175 (20 or more) - £150
What happens next?
Before sitting the Profile, you will be asked to complete a Morrisby Vocational Questionnaire which seeks information about your vocational interests. The completed Questionnaire will be sent, along with your test responses to the Morrisby Organisation who will produce a detailed Personal Guidance Report which integrates your interests with your abilities. This report will identify your individual aptitudes and work-related personality and will suggest a number of career areas that might suit you.
This is a rigorous and detailed report, and requires experienced feedback from a Morrisby accredited practitioner to do it justice. To see the detail in these reports, see an example Student and Adult report attached here (click on relevant age group).
Interviews and reports are treated as strictly confidential and are protected in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
